For 32 years I worked in public service.

I believed in doing the job properly, standing for integrity, and serving the country as best I could.

Life, however, has a way of rewriting our plans.

Over the past few years I faced a series of challenges I never expected:

Serious illness.

Time in ICU.

Leaving my career earlier than planned.

And the difficult process of rebuilding life from scratch.

Experiences such as these change you.
